All member of staff are enjoined to ensure that all work are carried out in a
timely and safe manner and in accordance with relevant codes and safety
practices to guarantee health, safety and protection of environment (HSE) where
we operate. This is in pursuant of our set safety objectives.
1. To ensure that all staff considers and practices HSE as a basic business
operating principle and integrate HSE into their programmes.
2. To reap the gains of HSE of avoiding injury, preserving life of persons
associated with our work and environment.
These are to be achieved by:
(a) SAFETY MEETING:
Regular safety meeting to be held monthly with full participation of all
staff to promote safety awareness among all.
In order to enhance personal awareness and education, effort will be
made to ensure staff training in basic fire fighting, unsafe, safe auditing
and swimming/water survival training.
(c) DRUGS AND ALCOHOL:
Through discipline and prudence, the company’s corporate safety policy
with the intention to contributing positively towards the realization of the
company’s objective to achieve higher safety standard and better
performance will be ensured by banning the consumption of hard drugs
and alcoholic substance while on company’s business. Defaulters shall be
(d) MEDICAL CERTIFICATE OF FITNESS:
All workers must provide a medical report from a reputable hospital
showing their fitness for work. In other words, all workers are to be
medically fit before allowed to commence work.
Effect of our operations on the environment shall be monitored and
controlled in accordance with approved standard.
